On the nose, ripe red and black fruits like wild strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries are complemented by a hint of black cherry. As it opens, toasted almonds, vanilla, and a touch of cinnamon emerge.
Full-bodied with a balanced structure, velvety tannins, and refreshing acidity. The underwater aging smooths the edges, creating a seamless texture. The fruit profile is enriched with plum jam and a touch of fig, while peppery and earthy Syrah notes add depth, with hints of clove and nutmeg.
